I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
